Workshops

Dawne Hornung

Dawne is a diehard beachcomber, artist, and jeweler who brings new life and purpose to the found objects she collects during her daily explorations along the beaches, bluffs, and shorelines of the Coastside. In this hands-on workshop, Dawne will guide participants in creating decorative shell trinket bowls or shell chimes using decoupage and assemblage techniques. All materials—base shells, tools, and supplies—will be provided.

Sebastian Petersen

Sebastian will demonstrate a variety of printmaking processes and techniques. Participants can choose from several methods to create their own greeting cards or postcards. We'll provide everything needed, including a selection of printing bases and tools. Whether you're making something to send or something to keep, Sebastian will help bring your summer-inspired cards to life.

Live Music & Cultural Performances

Professional Coastside musicians perform at various times and locations on Main Street. The lineup, genres, and locations will vary every month.

Lost Coast Duo — Kara Arnaz & Sean Woodward

Lost Coast Duo blends the lyrical songwriting of Bay Area artist Karaj with the rich instrumentation of multi-instrumentalist Sean Woodward. Their sound evokes the spirit of open spaces and the Western states, combining heartfelt melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and homegrown originality.

Catch them live in the Markers' Space from 5–7 PM.
